Carols by candlelight to lift roof at Coedmore Castle

This family event will include a bring and braai or picnic, and fires will be lit at 6pm.

EZEMVELO KZN Wildlife’s honorary officers are hosting a carols by candlelight event at Coedmore Castle in Yellowwood Park’s Stainbank Nature Reserve this Sunday, 18 December.

While the suburb’s castle is Durban’s best kept secret, this event will allow patrons to not only embrace the festive spirit but also to see the beautiful castle which is set amid lush green lawns within the nature reserve.

At a cost of only R25 per adult and R5 for children 12 and under, the entry gates open at 4pm and close at 6.30pm. Candles will be provided and the carols start at 7pm.

This family event will include a bring and braai or picnic, and fires will be lit at 6pm. Take along your family, food, chairs, drinks, picnic blankets and smiles. Children are encouraged to take along marshmallows.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will proceed as planned in the premises of the Wilderness Leadership School which is sited next to the castle.
