Murdered man identified as mother’s missing Umkomaas son
No suspects have been arrested and the motive for murder is still unknown.

A DISTRAUGHT mother whose son went missing finally received news about what happened to him but she now faces the debilitating task of burying him.
The woman heard on her local radio station that a man had been found murdered in Jacobs, under the bridge in Lansdowne Road on Thursday, 10 August.

The 24-year-old who hailed from Umkomaas was found with multiple stab wounds to his stomach. No identification was found on him.
Captain Mbuso Gumede from Wentworth SAPS said the mother was devastated when it was confirmed as her son. “She described him to be someone who did not condone violence and someone who was very quiet. She was shocked to hear of the way he died,” he said.
No suspects have been arrested and the motive for murder is still unknown.
