A FIFTY-eight year old Wentworth woman was caught on Monday, 26 March with a pantry full of suspected mandrax.
Wentworth SAPS crime prevention unit and the Chatsworth cluster task team were patrolling in Wentworth at about 2pm when they arrested the woman.
They searched her home in where they found a black plastic bag containing smaller bank bags. “These bank bags contained mandrax tablets and cash of R3,510,” said Wentworth SAPS’ Capt Mbuso Gumede.
The woman was arrested and charged with possession of mandrax. She appeared in Wentworth court on Tuesday, 27 March.
