Life plus 20 years for Bluff woman’s murder

The duo were sentenced in court on Monday, 11 February.

Convicted murderer Darryl Morrison (33) was found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment for murder, five years for attempted murder and 15 years for possession of unlicensed firearm for the murder of Bluff mother and wife Bianca Parsons.8.

The wife, daughter and mother was gunned down in her car on 26 February 2018. Parsons died in the company of her three-year-old daughter, while she was waiting in her car at a Tara Road fuel station in Wentworth.
Last Friday, 8 February, family and friends of Parsons rejoiced when Judge Esther Steyn convicted Morrison on all three counts of murder, attempted murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.
