Police reservist applications still open

Below is a list of your local police stations that you may contact for further information.

THE South African Police Service invites members of the public to apply to become a reservist.

The applicant will be required to undergo a psychometric assessment, a medical examination with a medical doctor or practitioner at their own cost and an interview with the police force.

SAPS will verify all information submitted such as criminal records, educational certificates, licences, and citizenship. Applicants will be vetted. Successful candidates will have to undergo a prescribed reservist training programme.

Applications can be collected and dropped off at your nearest police station from Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 3.30pm. Closing date for applicants on Friday, 28 February.
