Yellowwood Park Primary celebrates five decades of existence

Long standing teacher, Sherryl Reid spoke to learners about the many changes the school has undergone making it the prime and multicultural educational institution it is today.

YELLOWWOOD Park Primary (YWPP) celebrated a big milestone at the school’s 50th birthday on Friday, 14 February.

Excitement filled the room during the special birthday assembly, as learners were taken down memory lane with the school’s exciting and rich history from the golden days. One of the school’s long standing teachers, Sherryl Reid spoke to learners about the many changes that the school has undergone making it the prime and multicultural educational institution it is today. YWPP Principal Bongani Khanyi, engaged with the learners and shared his pride in the school’s accomplishments. The day’s activities was enjoyed by all and ended on a sweet note with the cutting of the bright yellow and green birthday cake.
