Juniors make a splash at swimming gala

The focus was on water safety and learners displayed what they had learned.

WARM weather, clear skies and enthusiastic junior primary learners contributed to the exciting swimming galas at Montclair Junior Primary on Friday, 6 March.

Amid lots of cheers from learners, teachers, and parents, learners took to the water and swam their races.

The focus was on water safety and learners displayed what they had learned.

They practiced for weeks prior to the gala and were excited to show off their confidence in the water and their swimming skills.

There was no competition, the event was merely a day of water fun for the juniors which also showed all the hard work put in by teachers.
