Bluff CPF apprehends three suspects
Officers from Security Force, Blue Security and ET Rapid Response and the police heeded the call.
A TUESDAY, 14 April, patrol led to the recovery of a stolen computer hard drive and the arrest of three suspects at about 10.30am to 11am.
Security Force members were patrolling Olsen Road on Bluff close to Hillside Mall when they noticed three men walking on the road with the hard drive in their possession.
The members managed to stop the men and called for assistance over the CPF network. Officers from Blue Security and ET Rapid Response heeded the call.
Back up arrived within a few minutes and the Brighton Beach Saps were also contacted. When questioned by the response officers, the suspects said they had found the hard drive with its USB and power cable in a bin on Marine Drive around the quick shop area.
This raised concerns with the members. The suspects gave the same answers to the police when they were investigated by them and were taken to the station for further questioning.
