Orange bag recycling programme resumes in June

THE Kerbside Orange Bag Recycling Programme will resume operations on Monday, 1 June.
According to eThekwini Municipality, the Cleansing and Solid Waste Unit has ensured that it adheres to the standards placed by the Department of Health and is in line with the safety of its employees in the work environment to eliminate chances of contracting and spreading of Covid-19 during level four of lockdown.
“Residents are encouraged to limit the number of recyclables generated or reuse, up-cycle or store recyclables on their properties.”
