Bluff Pick n Pay temporarily closed after store contractor tests positive for Covid-19

A specialist cleaning team is currently deep cleaning and sanitising the entire store and it will reopen once it has been completed.

THE Bluff Pick n Pay store had to close its doors after a store contractor tested positive for Covid-19.

In a statement Pick n Pay said: “We moved swiftly to trace their close contacts and they were sent home immediately to self-quarantine. As a precaution we have arranged for the store staff who were not in close contact with the contractor to be screened by health practitioners.

“A specialist cleaning team is deep cleaning and sanitising the entire store and it will reopen once it has been completed. We have informed the Department of Health. The store will be open soon.”

This is a developing story.
