City extends sundry grant programme
Applications should be in by no later than Friday, 31 July at 12pm.
APPLICATIONS to the Sundry Grant-in-Aid Programme have been extended to Friday, 31 July this year due to the lockdown.
The programme provides financial and material support to civil society organisations that seek support initiating and sustaining socio-economic, cultural and sporting development programmes especially to those from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.
Application forms are available at www.durban.gov.za, WhatsApp 081-829-8163, the ward councillor’s office on 49 Old Mission Road, Bluff or the central Sizakala region at Mega City Shopping Centre on 50 Mangosuthu Highway.
Electronic applications are encouraged and no application forms will be accepted at GIA offices, however, there are boxes placed at the regional offices for those who may not be able to e-mail or WhatsApp.
“All Bluff civil society organisations be it sustaining socio-economic, cultural or sporting development are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. Join the Bluff Community Noticeboard Facebook page for more community news and service delivery updates,” said ward 66 councillor, JP Prinsloo.
