Help Wentworth Angels make Mandela Day a memorable one
The organisation is appealing for help to assist homes affected by poverty, single-parenthood and unemployment.
THE Wentworth Angels organisation is on a mission to make this Mandela Day a memorable one for the families it assists and needs your help. They are appealing for your helping hand for homes affected by poverty, single-parenthood and unemployment.
“Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, we have been maintaining the feeding scheme and would like to host a blanket drive in the Austerville Park area. We are requesting companies to assist towards a beverage, little party pack for the children and blankets, especially for children and pensioners,” said the organisation’s Tracey Williams, who added that they would like the sponsor companies to be a part of the day.
“Due to Covid-19, our people have become more negative and disappointed and we want to bring the cheer back and make them feel good about themselves. This is the least we, as an organisation and businesses, can do to help remind them that there are still good people out there,” she said.
