Missing Montclair teen found
SA Cares SA Community Crime watch member, Dawn Gounden, confirmed that the search for the petite teenager has been called off and that she is now safely back at home.
THE search for a missing Montclair teenager has now been called off after she was found safe and sound.
Amanda Phungula, 16, was found on Wednesday, 15 July after she left her home on Sunbird Road in Montclair. She had been missing for three weeks.
SA Cares SA Community Crime watch member, Dawn Gounden, confirmed that the search for the petite teenager has been called off and that she is now safely back at home.
“Amanda is back home safely. The family wishes to thank the media, community members, SAPS family and friends who rallied around them during this time and assisted with information and distributing flyers. Unfortunately due to Amanda being a minor, no other information can be disclosed,” she said.
