Breast cancer event to raise awareness

This is a free event but booking is compulsory.

WOMEN are encouraged to take advantage of a breast cancer awareness programme on Wednesday, 28 October at 8.30am.

This free event, sponsored by Sibaya Community Trust and Daughters of Africa, will be hosted by the Women of Wonder (WOW) at the Marigold Banquet Hall on 11 Punjab Circle, Merebank.

The programme will include a testimony from a surviving patient and oncologist, Dr Lucielle Heslop, will be the guest speaker. There will also be a free breast cancer screening opportunity and amazing prizes in the lucky draw.

Booking is essential to avoid disappointment as seats are limited. Beverages and pastries will be served. Covid-19 protocol will be followed and face masks are compulsory. 

The WOW organisation is made up of six women who share a similar vision of spreading love, care, joy and happiness. It is a non-profit group that engages in monthly initiatives to create positivity and try to make the world a better place.
