Montclair police station closes after member tests positive for Covid-19
According to the station commander, Col Trevor Small, the decontamination of the station is scheduled for Tuesday, 22 December, however dates cannot be confirmed.

COMMUNITIES serviced by the Montclair Police Station are advised that the station was closed with immediate effect on Monday, 21 December, following one of its members testing positive for Covid-19.
According to the station commander, Col Trevor Small, the decontamination of the station should happen on Tuesday, 22 December, however dates cannot be confirmed.
“The Community Service Centre will operate as normal, however, it has been relocated to the Victim Friendly Centre which is at the rear of the station. All services at the station will be functional but limited until decontamination. Service delivery will be limited at the public offices such as public driving permit, applications for firearm amnesty and finance. These offices will resume on Wednesday, 23 December. SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this,” said Col Small.
