Three out of four wins for Quins in T20 tourney

The tournament arranged by the KZN Cricket Union, which runs from 7 to 28 March, was a compromise as the cricket season was virtually wiped out due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

RAILWAYS from Tongaat took on Harlequins in a T20 match on Sunday, 14 March held at Harlequins Cricket Club.

After losing a number of wickets and not making enough runs, Quins lost the game, proving Railways the victors of the morning game. However, Quins convincingly won the game in the afternoon against Silver Saints held at Penguins Street Chatsworth.

The tournament arranged by the KZN Cricket Union, which runs from 7 to 28 March, was a compromise as the cricket season was virtually wiped out due to the Covid-19 lockdown. The tournament is made up of two weekends of two 20-over games played in groups matches. Quins has an outside possibility of progressing to the final dependent on the out come of other matches next weekend. Quins has completed all four of its group matches having won three and lost one.
