Virtual Support Group: Management and care after a mastectomy
This group is free to join and offers support to cancer patients, caregivers and their loved ones.

WHILE Covid-19 has made traditional face-to-face support impossible for a while, a positive outcome from this was learning to connect with others with similar needs online, through various online platforms.
This won’t ever replace the intimacy of face-to-face support, online support groups are definitely here to stay because they make groups accessible to people who live all over the country but share a particular focus.
That is why Cansa and Netcare decided to launch a monthly virtual support group in June this year, discussing various topics that affect cancer patients, loved ones and caregivers, and putting the public in touch with experts on these topics.
An invite has been extended for the next support group meeting, and in future, you can keep an eye out for upcoming events. The next virtual Cansa Netcare Support Group is on Saturday, October 23 from 10:00 to 11:30.
Cancer patients and caregivers are welcome. Click here to access tickets to this free event.
