Snyman, is in the running for another term in office for the upcoming elections.

WARD 68 councillor Aubrey Snyman was up bright and early to cast his vote at the Austerville Community Hall in Wentworth.

He shared that he felt the turnout was slow but consistent and is hopeful more people will go vote as the day progresses.

Snyman, is in the running for another term in office for the upcoming elections. The member of the DA has 15 years of service to the community and is eager to continue the streak. His achievements as a councillor include entertaining senior citizens at year-end functions. He is involved in various community projects such as getting traffic calming measures, cul-de-sacs and water standpipes installed.

“Hopefully we will have a good election day where everyone is treated equally and fairly and with no issues. More change is needed in this community. It is something we have been expecting for the past 27 years but unfortunately, we have not seen it yet hence why I cast my vote as a citizen. May the best person win,” he said.
