BCA head prefects look forward to the year ahead

The learners are eager to begin the 2022 academic year which is also their final year at school.

BLUFF Christian Academy welcomed its new set of head prefects on Wednesday, January 19. The school’s new leadership was announced at the school’s prize-giving ceremony early December last year.

The learners are eager to begin the 2022 academic year which is also their final year at school. The school also celebrated 21 years of its existence at the ceremony. Principal, Cheryl Ross, expressed her pride at the strides the school has made.

In her address, she detailed the year-long activities the school had been involved in which included a 2.1k fun walk and run for its 21 years of existence.

“There are many national and international events we celebrate during the course of the year and at BCA, we choose the ones that are educational and fun. BCA’s slogan is educating for eternity,” she said, quoting Proverbs 22:6.

She said it is a privilege to partner with parents, staff, the school board and guardian panels who make a difference in the lives of our children to help them realise their potential and God-given purpose in their lives.

“I thank my staff for their dedication and commitment to our children. On behalf of the staff, parents and learners, I thank the school board who take time to meet when its needed.

“And our guardian panel pastors who tirelessly sacrifice their time to counsel learners and minister at our assemblies every week. The prayers and support of these wonderful men of God are one of the backbones that makes the BCA strong,” she added.
