Kenmont matric learners soar at exams to beat odds

The school's principal, Zelda Dempers said she was proud of the learners' achievements.

MANAGEMENT at Kenmont School is proud of its learners for achieving a bachelor’s degree pass in their matric exams last year.

The school’s principal, Zelda Dempers said she was proud of what the learners were able to achieve, despite their challenges.

“Our school is for learners with special educational needs (LSEN) and significant barriers to learning. We are extremely proud of the learners who have achieved their national senior certificate.

“These learners were entered into the mainstream curriculum and achieved commendable results despite their challenges. Four of our learners achieved bachelor’s degree passes and will continue their academic journeys at tertiary institutions,” she said.
