CPF elections to be held

Eligible nominees and voters are reminded that they must produce their identification document and proof of address when partaking in the elective processes.

THE Brighton Beach Community Policing Forum will host the sub-structure forum elections to elect an executive committee.

The special general meeting for the Clairwood sub-forum will be held at the Clairwood Tamil Institute Hall, situated at 59 Sir Kurma Reddi Road, Clairwood on Saturday, May 28, at 14:00.

The special general meeting for the electoral process of the Bluff sub-forum will be held at Harlequins, situated at 48 Garcin Place, Brighton Beach, Bluff, on Sunday, May 29, at 14:00.

An executive committee comprising a chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary, deputy secretary, treasurer, public relations officer, as well as three additional members will be elected.

Communications officer of the Brighton Beach SAPS, Captain Louise le Roux, said nominations for available positions will be taken from the floor on the day. Eligible nominees and voters are reminded that they must produce their identification document and proof of address when partaking in the elective processes.
