Just in: One person dies in single-vehicle crash in The Bluff

The driver lost control and crashed into a street pole.

A WOMAN died in a single-car crash on the M4 Southbound at The Bluff off-ramp today (February 19). According to ALS Paramedics, the driver lost control and collided with a pole.

Spokesperson for ALS Paramedics Garrith Jamieson said, “On assessment, paramedics found a single occupant in the vehicle. A female believed to be in her 50s had, unfortunately, sustained serious injuries and died at the scene. There was nothing paramedics could do for her, and she was declared deceased on the scene.

“At this stage, the events leading up to the collision are unknown, however, SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further.”

Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
