
POLICE in Montclair have launched a manhunt for two suspects who hijacked a blue BMW 330d on Tuesday evening. The incident happened at a petrol station in Montclair at around 21:30.
The two armed men, in casual clothes, accosted the victim at gunpoint and demanded his car keys.

CCTV video footage captured at a petrol station shows one of the suspects assaulting the victim while the other forced a security guard to lie down on the floor.
The suspects then drove off in the victim’s car.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Noma Mnguni said police are investigating a case of carjacking. Mnguni said the police are still searching for the victim’s car.

The victim, Keagen George Barratt, posted on Facebook on February 20, saying the car was ‘last tracked in uMlazi’.
