Chairperson Sidney Govindsamy said in a statement, “We are looking for dedicated individuals, youths and residents to join the Bluff Community Policing Forum and contribute to creating a safer environment for all residents.
“As a member of the Bluff CPF, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with local law enforcement agencies, community leaders and fellow volunteers to address crime prevention strategies, promote community awareness and foster positive relationships between residents and law enforcement.
“We also offer fingerprinting services for all those who wish to join the Bluff CPF as volunteers. This additional step helps us ensure the integrity and safety of our team members as well as maintain a high level of trust within the community. The individual should not have a criminal conviction.”
By joining the Bluff CPF, the new volunteers will play an active role in keeping our community safe and build strong connections with local law enforcement and community members.
The volunteers will also raise awareness about crime prevention and safety measures and contribute their ideas and skills towards creating a safer neighbourhood.

Govindsamy said, “No prior experience is necessary to join the Bluff CPF. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life who are committed to making a positive impact. Training and support will be provided to all volunteers. Please note that participation in the Bluff CPF is voluntary, and no monetary compensation will be given. We believe that your involvement can make a real difference in our community’s safety and well-being. Join us today and be a part of something impactful. As the high levels of crime highlight the importance of community involvement, we need your support and involvement in curbing crime in the area. We urge you to take the initiative and join the CPF.”
