Heidi Geyser, the association’s treasurer, shared her mixed feelings regarding the turnout but emphasised the positive atmosphere that the enthusiastic attendees created. “Although we were hoping for more participants, those who came brought a wonderful sense of love, laughter and joy, enjoying the prizes, gifts and delicious wors rolls, which satisfied their hunger,” she said.

The association has already made significant upgrades, such as retiling the bathrooms and entranceway; repainting; and installing new toilet-roll holders and soap dispensers. “We plan to add an artistic touch to the entrance to create a warm and welcoming space for the community,” she explained.
