Seventeen enthusiastic women gathered for a morning of camaraderie, support and shared experiences. The event marked an inspiring beginning for the group, which already boasts 30 dedicated members. Roshni Naicker, one of the members, described the gathering as a resounding success, crediting everyone’s contributions for making the morning unforgettable.

Colleen Moodley, the group’s coordinator, said, “Together, we can help each other navigate this difficult journey with God as our focus.” The atmosphere was filled with warmth and encouragement as survivors shared their stories and reinforced the group’s mission to uplift and support one another.

All cancer survivors interested in being a part of this support group are encouraged to attend the Wings of Hope Cancer Support Group meetings. Contact Colleen Moodley on 084 358 9271 to receive details on the next meeting.

This initiative is a reminder that no one has to face this journey alone as Wings of Hope aims to provide strength, compassion and unity in the Durban South community.
