The hampers, distributed in the hall, were the highlight of the day and put smiles on the faces of the elderly residents. The chairperson of the entertainment committee, Dawn Coetzee, thanked the Free Masons for their generosity and continued support of the village.

“This annual visit is something our residents look forward to. We are deeply thankful to Jurek Krajewski for organising the parcels and Richard Dempsey, the mayor of the Free Masons, for joining us. Their kindness truly blesses our people during the festive season,” she said.

Over time, this Free Masons visit has become an event held dear by Arcadia Old Age Home, showcasing the concerns of the organisation in society and the wish to keep spirits high.

Residents were grateful for the generous gifts distributed to them and the friendly atmosphere this created. To many of the residents, hampers are a big help and also a reminder that one is remembered and cared for during this special time of the year.

The Arcadia Old Age Home and its residents wish to express their sincere gratitude to the Free Masons for their continued generosity, making the festive season bright for all.
