Caileen Flemming, founder of the baby home, indicated that, with Christmas approaching, the home was expecting to receive new babies and had a number of needs in terms of supplies.

“We have new babies arriving soon, and we’ll need formula for small babies as well as our three toddlers,” Flemming said.

The wish list:

  • Infacare 1 formula- for small babies
  • Infacare 3 formula- for toddlers
  • Swimming nappies and sunscreen- so that the little ones can enjoy the pool during the summer heat
  • Fresh fruit and toddler snacks- to keep the children nourished and happy
  • Washing powder and Domestos- for cleaning and maintaining a safe environment

Flemming said every small contribution made a big difference, especially over the festive season when the spirit of giving could bring joy to the little ones at the home.

“Our babies and toddlers deserve the best care and a bit of fun over the holidays. We want to make their Christmas as special as possible, and the support of our community makes that possible,” she added.

Journey for Hope Baby Home is an organisation that provides babies and toddlers with love, care and support. Any kind of donation of items on their wish list will go a long way in helping them continue their vital work.
