Schizophrenic Merewent pensioner goes missing

The missing pensioner, who suffers with schizophrenia, was last seen in the Merewent area less than a week ago.

RENEGADES Search and Rescue has issued a plea to the community to help find Walter Reiner, 69, who was last seen on July 15.

Reiner was last spotted around midday in the Merewent area. He was dressed in grey pants, a multi-coloured striped t-shirt and black takkies when he disappeared.

Walter is not self-sufficient and suffers with schizophrenia, so it is imperative to help find the missing pensioner.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Wentworth police on 031 451 6207 or call or Whatsapp Dawn Gounden from Renegades Search and Rescue on 074 712 5855.
