WITH only a few days left until Wentworth Angels hosts their last Christmas party, organisation head, Tracey Williams, was pleased to announce that the party packs she made a plea for assistance with was done and dusted.

“Assistance is needed towards the senior citizens hampers, as well as the Adopt a Child initiative, where sponsors can donate new clothing, underwear, toiletries and shoes to each child on our list. The organisation lacks sponsors because of a few rumours by negative people. Being at the helm of assisting the community results in me being involved in various cases and the stress has taken a toll on me, resulting in issues with my health this year.

Therefore, this will be the last event for the organisation as Wentworth Angels will officially close at the end of this year. I have spent 12 years of my life giving back to the community it is time for me to take care of myself and my own children.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to be able to assist my community through my organisation. I thank the sponsors who stayed with Wentworth Angels and were dedicated to the organisation, as well as those who assisted with events and cases I worked with.

“This will be my last call for donations as the founder of Wentworth Angels, and I believe that this call for assistance will reach those who will be able to assist me to spread joy to vulnerable children and elderly residents, this Christmas,” said Williams.
