Children Have a Dream initiate Easter-egg drive

With the help of the community, many more children can share in the joy of Easter.

EMBRACING the spirit of Easter and the joy it brings, Children Have a Dream launched their annual Easter-egg drive, aiming to spread happiness and love.

The organisation’s goal is to collect Easter eggs to gift to a local children’s home, aiming to brighten the lives of youngsters. They have planned a day full of entertaining activities and fostering friendships.

Sheldon Francis, the director of Children Have a Dream, expressed, “Our Easter-egg drive is more than just about donating eggs; it’s about spending meaningful time with the children and showing them care.” He emphasised the importance of creating lasting memories with the children.

The planned visit includes engaging activities, such as Easter-egg hunts, sports and life-skills sessions, all geared towards promoting personal development and creating moments of joy.

Donations are welcome until the end of March, ensuring Children Have a Dream has ample time to organise their Easter programme scheduled for April 16.

Those willing to contribute can either purchase a box of Easter eggs and arrange for pick-up by contacting Children Have a Dream or they can donate R100 directly to Sheldon Francis on 067 127 0286 to support the purchase of Easter eggs.
