Load-shedding to recommence today

The eThekwini Municipality has issued a statement explaining that load-shedding will resume after 10 months of uninterrupted supply.

LOAD-SHEDDING has resumed as of January 31 and will continue until further notice, according to the eThekwini Municipality’s communications unit.

Earlier in the day, Eskom issued an alert of the high risk of load-shedding following a respite of over 10 months of uninterrupted power supply.

Should there be any further developments, the eThekwini Municipality will issue an update.
