Help Peanut come home: The Bluff resident appeals to the community

Peanut, a light ginger cat, has gone missing and Helen Sam, a Bluffie, is asking the community to help find her cat.

HELEN Sam, The Bluff resident, has issued a desperate plea to the community to help her find her missing cat, Peanut. The light ginger male cat is slightly over one-year-old, and he was last seen on February 27 at Grays Inn vet clinic on Tara Road. According to Sam, Peanut jumped over the wall of the clinic and has since not been found.

Description of Peanut:
  • Colour: Light ginger with white paws, white nozzle/chin/neck and a white tip on the end of his tail.
  • Size: Medium size, skinny and lean build.
  • Other features: Not neutered, pink nose and soft mew.

Sam is appealing to the community to keep an eye out, especially if they notice unusual barking from dogs, as Peanut is likely hungry and scared. She emphasised how much Peanut is cherished by her family and begged any sighting to be reported immediately.

“I am asking The Bluff residents, please keep your eyes peeled for him. If you happen to spot a cat that looks like him, please take a photo or a video of him and send them to me,” said Sam.
