WITH the heavy rains becoming a normal occurrence for residents in Durban South, people are being advised to stay off the roads and stay indoors. While no one generally likes a rainy day, there can be tons of fun for the entire family. Here are 10 fun, family-friendly activities that the whole family can enjoy without stepping out of the house.

- Family movie night: Cuddle up on the sofa with a blanket, a bowl of popcorn and your favourite film. Old or new, movie nights are a great way to get together and relax.
- Have a bake off: Divide into groups and battle it out to produce the best cookies, cupcakes or whatever delectable dessert that meets your desires.
