Ronel Kruyshaar of Sam’s Voice said the room will be utilised to accommodate residents currently on their journey of recovery and provide them with stability in one of the most crucial phases of healing and reintegration.

“What makes this project even more meaningful is that some of our residents are skilled tilers. They will be doing the tiling themselves, turning this effort into not only a renovation but also a symbol of hope, purpose and second chances,” said Kruyshaar.

She added that at Sam’s Voice, they are a dedicated team of professionals, counsellors, and reintegration mentors that work together to support individuals on their sober living journey. They provide a nurturing, structured environment focused on healing, growth and lasting transformation.

Kruyshaar is appealing for community support, whether through material donations, discounts from suppliers or just assistance in spreading the word.

“Every bit helps make this vision a reality. A safe space can be a foundation on which one could make life-changing transformations,” said Kruyshaar.
