Somera, the mind behind Lilly the Llama Party Drama, continues to enchant children by weaving playful and light-hearted storytelling. In this latest story, Lilly the Llama embarks on a vibrant Easter quest, guided by the tempting aroma of chocolate. Along her journey, she meets lively bunnies and encounters colourful Easter eggs, creating a narrative that balances humour and wonder in a way that naturally stirs the imaginative spirit of children.

Somera has included QR code access, allowing readers to open the story quickly and effortlessly with a scan. She added this was intentionally done to try and bridge the gap between literacy and technology.

“As children grow up in an increasingly digital world, this approach connects technology with literacy in a meaningful way. It shows that screens can lead children back to reading, not away from it. With one scan, a story opens up, reinforcing the idea that reading remains essential even as formats evolve,” she said.

This title is part of what Somera calls Lilly’s World, a creative universe she is continuously expanding.

“This is my way of giving back and sharing a little Easter joy. I believe stories are one of the most powerful ways to help children fall in love with reading. I wanted to create something free and accessible that families and teachers could easily share,” said Somera.

To complement the book, additional resources such as a read-aloud video and printable story sheets will be provided. These tools aim to support parents and teachers in bringing Lilly’s Easter adventure to life more vividly and engagingly.

Somera hopes through relatable characters like Lilly the Llama and her friends, it can help young readers celebrate their own creativity, friendship and emotional expression.
