INVITATION TO REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED AND AFFECTED PARTY AND COMMENT ON THE MINING PERMIT APPLICATION DMR REFERENCE NO: KZN30/5/1/3/2/11173 MP Notice is hereby given with the intent to conduct Basic Assessment process for the Mining Permit Application for Mining of Chrome Ore, Cobalt, Copper Ore, Gold Ore, Phosphate Ore, Lead, Limestone, Nickel Ore, Rare Earths, Titanium, Tin Ore, Aluminium Ore and Zinc Ore in terms of section 27 of the Mineral and Petroleum Resource Development Act, 2002 (Act 28 of 2002), as amended and Chapter 6 of NEMA, EIA Regulation, 2014. ANALYTICS X (Pty) Ltd (`The Applicant`) has appointed Kimopax (Pty) Ltd as an Independent Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP), to undertake the application for an Environmental Authorisation, together with the associated Public Participation Process (PPP). on behalf of Analyticsx (Pty) Ltd. PROJECT LOCATION THE proposed project is located on the farm Portion of RE/13 of Reserve No.12 of 15832 HU, situated in the Nongoma Local Municipality and the Zululand District Municipality, in the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa. OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE Interested and Affected Parties (I&APs) are invited to register and submit written comments, quoting the above reference number, together with their contact details and email address, within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. The Basic Assessment Report for the above-mentioned project will be made available electronically and in hard copy for public review and comment at the Municipality and Library.
