Agreement on local not always lekker

I refer to the letter by SC Jones of 18 October and have to totally agree.

On Saturday, 5 October my fridge just stopped working. I duly got my Southlands Sun and the called the first service provider. We duly called them and to cut a long story short, R1,650 later my fridge was “supposed” to be working but it wasn’t getting cold. Tried calling them the Sunday, no answer. On Monday they collected the fridge and returned it the Tuesday afternoon, bearing in mind we have rather warm days in Durban.

Well, today, 10 days later and the fridge is still not working. Contacted them on numerous occasions and all I get is they will see me later. Do I now contact another company, call Wendy Knowler or just go buy a brand new fridge?

Will definitely think twice before supporting local.
