EDITOR – For a change I would like to comment on how decent and honourable some people can be.
My husband is a post-pension employee at Victoria International, Jacobs,who was recently diagnosed with cancer.
He is 67 and we immediately imagined loss of income or even loss of employment, as the interminable treatment was carried out.
Instead Mr Mohan Nair and his wife Deena have been reassuring, supportive and understanding. They have stood behind my husband during his battle with this dreadful disease, and have continued to support him with little return to themselves.
Most big companies would not have shown the compassion that Mr Nair has and for this we would like to thank him from the bottom of our hearts.
