EDITOR – In reply to Mark Francis’ letter in the edition dated 1 August, I find it hard to believe Mr Francis has turned this into a personal attack on Gavin Hegter.
Why does he not rather work with the CPF and not always look for fault?
As the saying goes, 6+3=9 but so does 5+4=9 – the way you do things is not always the only way to do them. Respect other people’s ways of thinking.
Mr Hegter is CPF cluster board chairman. He was not elected because he does notthing as Mr Francis states.
He did not march with the political party as they were marching against the CPF, SAPS and the ward 64 councillor – so why would they march with a political party against them selves?
And where were you Mr Francis, when Gavin, Brenda and Robyn arranged 21 days of drug awareness? They spent months, day and night arranging it and it was a huge success. This in addition to other events they arranged. Stop looking for the splinter in someone else’s eye and remove your own.
Fight crime and serve the community.
