Five innovative uses for golf course land

To not keep it to some productive use will result in a host of negative impacts.

EDITOR – Not being a golf player, initially I didn’t have too much interest in the club.

However, I think the open space adds value to the Bluff.

To not keep it to some productive use will result in a host of negative impacts. I believe it can be retained with a bit of innovative thinking.

Some potential uses, while still retaining golf as a key use, are:

* Set up walking and jogging tracks

* Establish a morning ‘boot camp’

* Establish mountain bike trails linking through to the shopping centre

* Allow a ‘dog walking’ membership

* Turn it to some other commercial uses.

I am sure that there are lots of other innovative ideas from our community.
