PETROLHEADS and car fanatics alike may be pleased to hear that the popular show, Top Gear Live may once again grace the shores of Durban.
Although it’s three-year contract with the city has ended, the city is investigating the possibility of hosting it again. Even though 10 cities are contending for the opportunity to host the spectacle, Durban is rumoured to be a hot favourite.
During the show in Durban on 21 and 22 June, Jeremy Clarkson shared with the rapturous Mabhida crowd, that Durban was their best audience. The jaw dropping at the show has left many gasping for air. Though the show’s success can be seen it’s large following, as over 67,000 fans walked through the gates of Moses Mabhida Stadium, some were left unimpressed and bored.
