Norman turns heat up in blistering men’s singles bowls
On Wednesday, 5 April, the club hosts the any pairs competition.

ON what started off overcast and cooler and turned into a blistering hot Saturday afternoon, two games were played at Woodlands Bowling Club.
The men’s singles game between Norman Moore and Tom Cloete was a very tight game but in the end Norman Moore won 21-15.
The other game played was mixed pairs between Rina Harper and Bill Hewer against Harold Dix and Gloria Rice. The heat got to all the players and while this was also a very tight game, in the end Rina and Bill beat Harold and Gloria 16-14.
On Wednesday, 5 April, the club hosts the any pairs competition. To enter a team contact Linda Hewer on 082-724-6575 and on Thursday, 6 April will be the casual fours competition. To enter a team, contact Andy Cloete on 083-987-9611.
