THE Harlequins Cricket Club commenced the 2022/ 2023 season with a warm-up match against Chatsworth United, bagging a victorious 20 over match at Harlequins main oval, recently.
The Quins thereafter played a 20 over group match against Umlazi, who set a target of just 62 runs for 10 wickets off 19 overs, on September 25. Quins fast bowler, Devlin Dolan, captured 4 wickets for 10 runs of 4 overs, while Keshav Govender captured 3 wickets for 13 off 4 overs.

Quins surpassed the target with just 5 wickets down, with Kevin Kettle top scoring with an undefeated 15 runs in just 6 deliveries, and Keshav Govender scoring 14 off 18 balls. Quins won by 5 wickets. On October 2, the Quins 1 team will take on Lindelani at Siripat 1 in a 20 over group match.
