There has been a report of an alleged murder at Dube Hostel at the Meadowlands Police Station.
A witness alleges he was walking with his father through Dube Hostel when he decided to stop and buy a cigarette.
As his father kept walking, he noticed a man with a familiar face who lives in Dube Hostel allegedly approach his father going in the opposite direction.
The witness allegedly heard the familiar-faced man say to his father that he (father) thinks he knows him ( familiar faced man) too much, while pulling out a firearm.
The witness then started moving backwards as he allegedly watched the familiar-faced man shoot his father in the head.
The witness ran in the direction they came from and heard several more gunshots afterwards, not seeing what happened after his escape.
After about 30 minutes, the witness and son of the deceased returned to the scene of the crime finding his father lying on the ground stained with blood.
The witness is sure of who killed his father in broad daylight and is willing to point out the suspect.
No arrests have been made and police docket has been opened.
