Bikers ride to community’s rescue
The team was entertaining the public by spinning their motorbikes and racing in the streets

Immortals Brotherhood and Sisterhood Bike Club were in Chiawelo recently to support the house handover where gogo Jane Mposula received the keys to her new home.
The team was entertaining the public by spinning their motorbikes and racing in the streets. The club was formed last year to help the needy by providing food and clothing for them.
They also support the community by hosting fundraising events and attend parties, weddings, and funeral services.
According to one of the team members, Tshepo Tjabane the biking club has grown and is now 63 members strong with more joining.
They are based at Ubuntu Kraal in Orlando West.
“We have supported a number of club members all over Soweto and we will continue to do whatever necessary to assist the community. We also play a role in helping charities,” said Tjabane.
At the handover, Mposula was given a ride by one of the bikers as she arrived at her new home in style.
She was driven by bike from Pimville to Chiawelo and seemed to be enjoying every minute of being on a motorbike.
Mposula was, to say the least, excited and thankful to the team and the community for supporting her.
Tjabane said that they would be hosting an official of the club on a date to be announced in December.
