Lamula Jubilee bids farewell to the class of 2019

The school principal Mahosi Mukwena wished them a good journey ahead and said they have done their part as teachers and as a school in preparing them for the final examinations.

Teachers and the School principal at Lamula Jubilee held a farewell for the class of 2019 as a token of appreciation for being dedicated throughout the year.

The event took inside the school premises where there was also an award ceremony for those learners who have been doing good and those who have improved.

One of the RCL students Katlego Tsimile stood up and addressed the class of 2019 and said despite challenges that they faced during the year let them not destroy or define who they are.

“Be kind to people on your way up and allow the word of God to guide you, believe in yourself and know that inside you there is something greater than any obstacle,” said Tsimile.

Tsimile also said, life has its stages and this is your time to shine and do your best, continue moving forward as the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of life.

Speaker for the day Bongani Nkosi said people should start living their lives in phases, not in stages. we tend to wait and achieve certain things according to those stages but when you live in phases you do not worry about what people think.

Nkosi said when one is due for an upgrade you get a better package than the one you currently have and to the class of 2019 you are now due for an upgrade as you will be facing the reality of life.

He further added the old device you handled it in a certain way now you are due from your behaviour and attitude how you handle yourself shows that are you ready for bigger things learn to respect life.

“There is nothing wrong with your brain but the problem is your mind how you see things are what you have already created in life there is always a major come back in life the last lap doesn’t mean you are doomed you can make it.”

“The is a phrase that says ‘the world gets out of the way of a person who knows where he is going’ find that reason that will lead you to an examination room as to why you should write that exam.”

In closing Nkosi added, this is a defining moment for your life and life we are living is not a PVR as it won’t come again once you have done something there is no reverse.



“Do it for yourself as this is a critical time for you get that good pass and your matric certificate will make a way for you where there is no way and opens opportunities where you have lost hope.”

The school principal Mahosi Mukwena wished them a good journey ahead and said they have done their part as teachers and as a school in preparing them for the final examinations.

“In 2020 we should continue to be top achievers amongst the district make us proud and bring that 100 percent home with distinctions,” concluded Mukwena.
