Dagga dealer arrested during Eldorado Park operation
Eldorado Park SAPS, the SANDF and Anti-Gang Unit conducted an operation in the area, leading to the arrest of a 40-year-old alleged suspect.
A 40-year-old man was arrested for dealing in dagga after police found a bag of dagga and cash during Operation Prosper in Old Eldorado Park on September 11.
The operation was conducted by Eldorado Park SAPS, together with the SANDF and the Anti-Gang Unit.
Eldorado Park SAPS media liaison officer Sergeant Fezeka Khobo said members received intelligence-driven information from an anonymous source regarding a suspect dealing in dagga at a premises in Old Eldorado Park.

Police identified the premises and met with the occupant, who identified himself as the owner.
“After officials were granted permission to search the premises, they found a bag full of dagga and an undisclosed amount of money, believed to be proceeds of crime,” said Khobo.
The suspect was arrested for allegedly dealing in dagga and was detained at Eldorado Park SAPS for further police investigation.
Station commander Brigadier Mkhacani Maluleke said the operation is part of ongoing efforts to address drug-related crimes in the area.
