Donation benefits children of Klipspruit
Fepang Bana Ba Rona and their sponsor donated food and non-perishable goods to the children of Klipspruit.

Fepang Bana Ba Rona (FBBR) is a foundation founded by Joyce Machepa that gives back to the community by donating and cooking food for the community.
The most recent drive was in Klipspruit at the Leratong Day Care Centre on February 8 to give out non-perishable goods donated by Thapelo Community Projects (TPC) to young children so they have nutritious meals prepared for them at home.

Machepa told the Urban News that as a teenage mom, she lacked a lot and thought she could give back through sponsors, which drove her to start the foundation.

“I think this foundation will help break the chains of poverty in our communities. The little that is donated surely goes a long way.
“These goods will ensure families at least have a meal for a few days,” said Machepa.
TPC is an NPO focusing on education and charity work. It mostly empowers the youth and women by giving them the necessary skills to sustain themselves.
The founder of TPC, Portia Pholosi, said, “We have partnered with FBBR to ensure we support them by donating food parcels and anything else that will help the children who are part of the foundation.

“We are more about making a difference in the communities we come from.”
She said she hopes their small donation positively impacts the children’s lives.
The foundations also have a school shoe and pad drive to ensure no child misses school and is confident.
