Level Up campaign helps Soweto learners apply for varsity

Schincheonji Volunteers returned to Bopasenatla Secondary School to assist matrics with tertiary applications and offer bursary opportunities.

The Schincheonji Volunteers recently visited Bopasenatla Secondary School and held their Level Up 2.0 Campaign.

The campaign aims to assist learners with tertiary applications and help them choose appropriate courses and career paths.

The head of the organisation in Gauteng, Xihluke Mabaso, said the purpose of the event is to make information accessible to the Grade 11 and 12 learners of the school.

“We’ve noted that many learners in public schools lack sufficient information when it comes to choosing their tertiary courses or selecting the right institutions.

“This is our second Level Up 2.0 Campaign, following the one we held in January. We felt it was necessary to return and assist learners further.

“We helped them complete applications to institutions so they could have the same opportunities as those with greater access to information,” Mabaso said.
